Quickstart
This guide takes you from nothing to your first full scan. You'll need a GitHub account with access to your app's repository, and your app's live URL.
Step 1. Run free Vitals if you want a first look. Go to the home page, enter your live URL and press Get free Vitals. This needs no account.
Step 2. Connect with GitHub, or use an email link, once accounts are open. We only ask GitHub for your name and email address.
Step 3. Install the GitHub App from your account. GitHub lists what the app can do: read your code, create branches named rescue/…, open pull requests and post checks. Choose only the repository you want rescued.
Step 4. Add your live URL and prove it's yours with a file at /.well-known/rivyva-verify.txt, a meta tag, or a DNS TXT record. Then press Check now.
Step 5. Accept the Terms and the DPA. If you want fix pull requests, also allow AI-assisted analysis.
Step 6. Press Scan now. When it finishes you get a Health Score and a list of findings, with the most harmful first.
Step 7. Open a finding and press Fix this on a paid plan. When an engineer has reviewed it, the pull request is marked Ready for you. You merge it. We then re-check that finding.
