Rescue for Bolt apps

Bolt gets a full-stack app running in your browser fast. Before you take payments, it's worth checking how the server confirms them and what ends up in the browser.

Common issues we check for in Bolt apps

  • PAY-001 — Webhooks that accept unsigned events
  • PAY-002 — Prices or amounts taken from the browser
  • PAY-003 — Paid access granted on the success page instead of the webhook
  • PAY-004 — Webhooks that process the same event twice
  • SEC-003 — Secret keys in the browser bundle
  • HDR-001 — Missing protective headers
  • DEP-003 — No lockfile

How we fix them

One small pull request per problem, with a test and rollback steps, reviewed by a Rivyva engineer. You merge.

What you need

Your app's code in a GitHub repository, and its live URL. Export or push your Bolt project to a GitHub repository, then install our GitHub App.

Questions

My Bolt app has no tests. Is that a problem?
No. If your repo has no test setup, our first fix adds a minimal one, so every later fix can include a test.
Will you deploy my app?
No. We open pull requests. Deploying stays with you, or with your hosting.
